The Game’s Format
A Gentle Rain is a tile-laying tabletop game that promotes mental health through a tactile and low-stakes gameplay experience.
The game is simple. You draw a face-down tile from the stack, place it in the play area with one lily flower's artwork against another that matches, and place a lily token in the center of a completed square of matching lily flowers. That's it. The game can be played with as many players as you'd like and can take as little as 5 minutes if you're experienced. It's the ultimate cozy game where there are no pressures to roll high, chain actions, or outwit an opponent. It's just you, the calm lake, and your thoughts.

Visual Identity
A Gentle Rain evokes the calmness of an overcast morning spent at the lake. It's not too hot, nor too cold outside. It's just right to spend some time on the lakeside with your thoughts, content with your place and your life. There's no anxiety here. The game promotes a moment of self-reflection, inner-peace, and a way to process the busy thoughts of everyday life. This aesthetic is achieved with a limited color palette, gorgeous artwork, and simple iconography. There are no text or glyphs present on the game pieces, promoting you to be as present as possible.
